In the past, I have struggled emotionally. I had difficulty accepting the reality of my life. It was going a different way than the direction I wanted to – the direction I had dreamed of. I felt terribly disappointed and exhausted, both at life and at myself, but at the same time I needed the energy so I could adjust to the things that happened in my life.
I carried heavy burdens. I had emotional trauma that lasted for years – trauma that I believed were just the reality of my life. It felt that no matter how good a person I was, I still couldn’t get over the stumbling blocks that kept me stuck in a rut. I felt overloaded with emotions, to the point of feeling defeated and like a complete loser.
I didn’t have a steady job. I didn’t have a partner. I was anxious about money, all the time. I lived in fear on a daily basis over my finances. I got to the point of feeling despair.
That’s when I realized, I had nothing to lose …
At that point in my life, I realized I had nothing to lose. I had already hit rock bottom, and any move up was welcomed. I realized that if I wanted to end my struggling, I had to take responsibility.
I knew I needed to fix things with as little effort as possible. I had only a limited amount of energy, so I had to make sure each effort was worth the energy expense. If I could overcome the biggest stumbling blocks that made my life feel like a burden, then the smaller stumbling blocks would disappear.
I also needed a method for ending my struggle that took little effort – a method that takes less time and less money, or even no money, to do. If I had such a method, I could start to end my struggles, one by one, and decrease my burdens, one by one.
My biggest anxiety was money. Since I had nothing to lose, I tried the Tapping method – and I tried it on my biggest anxiety. Instantly, I felt a rush of emotional relief that had been burdening me for years.
The relief also came with a new-found sense of confidence – and with this new confidence, I was able to end my financial struggles. After my financial struggles ended, I had the energy and time to work on other areas of my life, especially relationships.
It took time to work, of course, but finally my life was moving up, in the direction I wanted to – the direction I dreamed of. It all began when I learned how to use EFT in the Tapping World Summit …
What is the Tapping World Summit?

So, let’s talk about the Summit.
The Tapping World Summit is a free annual telesummit event where people around the world gather online to learn about Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping to improve their lives.
The first summit was held back in 2009, and it is produced by Nick Ortner of TappingSolution.com. Before the summit, Nick produced the documentary film “Tapping Solution”. This film brought EFT to mainstream popularity and became known simply as Tapping. Since then, the summit has attracted more than 2,500,000 people, and more people are using EFT to increase the quality of their lives.
The summit features a group of Tapping experts that will do a presentation about their topic. The event is hosted by Jessica Ortner, Nick’s younger sister. You can listen to Jessica interview the experts, for free, so you can apply the lessons to improve your own life.
When is the 2019 Tapping World Summit?
The event is scheduled to begin on the 3rd of February, 2020. You can start registration early on the 3rd of February to enjoy several free video series that introduce you to the science behind Tapping and how to do it. The telesummit begins on the 24th of February, 2020, and lasts for 11 days (check below to find a schedule of speakers and topics).

The schedule of the Summit goes on for 11 days. Each day you can listen to 2 sessions. In each session, an expert will share their Tapping techniques for a specific area of life, such as reducing physical pain, solving emotional trauma, and overcoming money anxiety. The sessions are free to listen to. In the case you miss a session, you can listen to a replay recording which is available for only 24 hours.
During the previous Tapping Summit, there was the topic of “Tapping Into a Stronger Financial Future”.
- In the Red Room was Margaret Lynch, on the subject of “From Debt to Wealth: How to Clear the Hurdles Keeping You Stuck”
- In the Green Room was Pamela Bruner talking about “Reconciling Money and Spirituality: How to Be Spiritual and Abundant!”
According to Nick Ortner, Tapping into money is a hot topic for many people, since many people are going through financial struggles. Since money was my biggest anxiety, it’s also a hot topic for me.
Fortunately, after listening and applying the lessons in these sessions, I have been able to increase my income by as much as 300%.
Each session usually lasts for 45 minutes to 1 hour. I recommend you to listen to it either early in the morning (before work) or late in the evening (just before sleep). This way, you will be able to focus on Tapping along with minimal disturbances.
Other than the presentations, you can also listen to a 10-15 minute Tapping meditation with Jessica Ortner. These meditations help to apply the topic of the presentation into your life. You can follow each daily meditation or you can meditate on the issues that are most relevant to you (in my case, it’s the issue of money).
The way I did it was I listened to one session first thing in the morning (as early as 05.00 A.M), and listened to the second session late at night (between 20.00 to 22.00 P.M). Because you start the day with Tapping and end it with Tapping, it really helps to create a stress free day.
Beginning in the 2019 Tapping Summit, there is a bonus presentation each day, so you get a total of three presentations and a Tapping meditation. If it feels too much, simply choose the presentation that feels most urgent for your priorities right now.

It’s true that you can listen to all of the sessions for free. However, in some cases you might miss one or two sessions (or more), and the replay recording has already expired. In the event that this happens, and you want to listen to those sessions, or if you want to keep a permanent recording of these sessions because you’ve felt the benefits of Tapping and want to replay them in the future, then you can purchase the Gold Access or Platinum Access.
The Gold Pass or Platinum Access means that you buy the recordings to keep permanently in your digital library. With the Gold option, you get access to a login page where you can download your recordings in MP3 format. You also get the PDF transcripts of the interviews, so you can read along as you listen. The Gold option also gives you several extra interviews and videos that aren’t available anywhere else, plus Tapping Meditations so you are more equipped with tools to improve your life.
This year, when you upgrade your membership, you also get free three months access to the Tapping Insider’s Club. This program is normally a paid subscription, but you get 90 days free with the purchase of the Summit recordings. You can decide to continue the club membership after three months or cancel before that.
There are often bonuses announced only when the Summit is over but you can still purchase the recordings. You also get to join a private Facebook community. An online community is very valuable in my experience, as you can meet other people who are going through the same journey as you. Of course, nothing is perfect. After attending 8 annual Tapping Summits (starting from 2012 to 2019), I have found several pros and cons about it. First, I will share what I think are the positive points about this program:
1. It’s 100% Actionable Content
If you are reading this, then you are probably a “self help junkie”, am I right? I know, because I am one also. I’ve read tens of books and done dozens of programs, and only a small number have pure actionable content. The rest feel a bit too “abstract” which makes it difficult to implement in real life.
With Tapping, you get a solid technique you can do starting the moment you listen to each session. In my experience, I felt the energy blocks release inside of me almost immediately. Of course, I still have to do the “mechanics” on my own (such as take care of my finances if I am Tapping about money anxiety). Tapping really helps to take the anxiety of not having money off my mind. I can focus on doing the creative work I need to actually make more money.
2. You Will Find a Large and Warm Community
This is not one of those programs that are all hype and no substance. This is a scientifically and empirically proven technique based on ancient Chinese medicine and modern psychology. It’s endorsed by well-known authorities in the self improvement and health industry, and is used and verified by thousands of people around the world.
In short, the method works, and it works for a LOT of people. During the summit, you will find many people, each with their own stories, actively participating in the comments section about how they use Tapping to heal their pain. Whether it’s simply to relieve stress, or to heal a long term illness, or even to overcome the grief due to death of a loved one, these are real people with real stories of recovery.
3. It’s Free!
Many people decide to purchase the recordings as I did when I first attended this EFT Summit. I did so because I felt a huge relief for my money anxiety and I wanted to repeat the Tapping sessions. If however you currently don’t have the budget, don’t worry – you can listen to ALL of the sessions for free, provided that you make the time to listen to 2 sessions each day.
What I Don’t Like About the Summit
Tapping is really one of the best self help techniques I have ever tried (and I try a LOT of methods). However, it’s not without it’s faults. Here I will share how I think the Summit could be better:
1. The Sessions Can Feel “Dragging” a Bit
When I’m listening to a topic that really resonates with me, I listen passionately. When it doesn’t really relate to me, I sometimes doze off.
This is more of a personal taste issue. If you have limited time then you might want to pick and choose the topics that are currently bothering your mind the most.
2. It Takes Time to Listen to 2 Sessions per Day
If you have a really busy schedule, you might not have time to listen to 2 sessions, or you might forget. On one side, if improving your life is important for you, then you should dedicate time to listen. On the other side, life gets you busy.
I sometimes had to sleep late just to listen to both sessions, but it was worth it. Alternatively, you can always upgrade and purchase the recordings so you can listen at your own leisure
3. It Doesn’t Dive Deep Into Each Issue
Since the sessions are limited to 45 minutes to an hour, the speakers can’t deeply discuss an issue. Some EFT practitioners criticize the Summit because it simplifies the Tapping process too much. If you want to go deep about a certain issue, you can take a look at EmoFree.com that has the “Gold Standard” of EFT Tapping.
It’s true there are issues that require multiple Tapping sessions with a practitioner to completely solve. In cases like these, it’s best to contact an EFT practitioner if your issue isn’t resolved. The downside is that hiring a practitioner will cost money, while attending the Summit is free.
Some sessions don’t have Tapping inside them. I read some comments from Summit attendees that wonder why there’s no Tapping in the session they listen to. It’s a good thing there is always a complimentary Tapping meditation for each day of the Summit, so you can tap along to that.
You can think of the Summit as being the “Pop” version of EFT Tapping that helps you identify a deep issue if you have one. Then you can continue working on that particular issue with a practitioner or an in-depth course.

Besides the two cons above, there really is no negative side to the Tapping World Summit. If I were to give a rating, I would give it almost 5 out of 5 stars – because it’s useful, it’s simple, it takes little effort, and you can feel the benefits straight away.
There are other options out there that are similar to the Tapping Summit. There are a LOT of summits like this available, even all year long, but the ones that I have attended and truly enjoyed is this EFT Tapping Summit.
If you are going to attend the 2020 Tapping World Summit, let me summarize some tips to make sure you get the most out of it:
- Register early. The introductory videos start on the 5th of February. If this is your first time, you want to watch these videos so you know how Tapping works and how to do it.
- Listen to all or as many sessions as you can. Make the time to listen to each session. It’s possible that you might get an insight that can drastically improve your life during a session that seems unrelated at first.
- Take notes. If you purchase the recordings, you get a PDF transcript of each session. If you don’t then you have to take notes so you can remember again what you learned. In my case, I used mind mapping to help me remember the main lessons.
3 Ways the Tapping Summit Changed My Life
So how has my life changed since joining the Summit?
I believe the end purpose for participating in these events is TRANSFORMATION. If you only listen, but you don’t do the exercises, then your life won’t change either, no matter how powerful Tapping is.
Personally, my life is getting better and better. Since Tapping, there are a number of benefits that I have felt. These benefits truly impact my life in a significant way:
1. I Have Turned My Annual Income Into a Monthly Income
Yes, you read that right! I listened to the sessions about Tapping for money by Pamela Bruner and Margaret Lynch. These women changed my mindset and gave me courage to make the changes and take the risks.
Today, I am no longer in my dead end job. I am enjoying a full time income running my own business, working from home. You can listen to the Tapping experts speak about money issues (they usually dedicate a full day for this topic). Make sure you don’t miss it!
2. I Sleep Better and Much Easier
One of the bonuses you get for upgrading to the Gold or Platinum Package is Jessica Ortner’s “Tapping for Stress Relief”. I listen to the morning affirmation Tapping and evening clearing Tapping. Doing so clears all the stress I felt throughout the day, so I am able to sleep better. I listen to it so often, that eventually I didn’t need to anymore. I stopped feeling stress completely!
3. I Have Manifested My “Perfect Partner”
The truth is I am a shy, quiet and introvert person. When I was focused in on my business, I didn’t go out at all. I quarantined myself and kept working until I achieved success.
Though I make good money, the downside is that my romance life suffered. Once I started to achieve success, I went out to meet people again – especially women. I felt anxious entering new environments and meeting beautiful women. Tapping helped to ease the transition into a more lively social life.
Not only that, I used Tapping to clear the hurt from my past relationships and focus on finding my “perfect partner”. Only a few weeks after doing this process, I met a women who is now my wife and we enjoy an intimate relationship (at least, on most days we are intimate lol). I use Tapping on my wife to help ease her recurring mild migraines. She enjoys it so much that she often asks me to tap on her when she get a migraine, and nowadays she rarely has migraines.
From all that has happened ever since I attended my first Summit, the transformation feels almost MIRACULOUS. This is the real reason I give the Summit a near 5 star review!
It might not sound much for you, but for me it is a much much better life. I am wealthier, healthier and happier, even to my spiritual core. Tapping isn’t solely responsible, but is has contributed a great deal to my prosperity and welfare.
