Do you have traumas that make you feel fear and doubt about your problems? Tap along with Louise Hay as she solves a lifelong trauma.
Have you ever had a trauma in the past that still has an effect on you today? In some cases, a person can be under the effect of a trauma but isn’t aware of it at all. Traumas have a negative affect over us because they make us feel fear and doubt when we need to make important choices.
The topic of the second introduction video from the 2017 Tapping World Summit deals with the issue of trauma. Nick Ortner sits down with Louise Hay to talk about how the ‘Queen of Affirmations’ deals with traumas in her life. The video is an eye-opening reveals that shows how even a person who has done intensive ‘inner work’ can still have unfinished traumas from the past.
Clean the House, See the Dirt
One memorable quote from Louise is that ‘in order to clean the house, you have to see the dirt’. Most people don’t want to see or admit the ‘dirt’ in their life. We don’t want to acknowledge that we have problems that need to be solved because looking at those problems makes us feel uncomfortable.
But if we don’t solve those problems, they can grow bigger and make us feel guilty. Until we solve those problems, we will always feel something ‘unfinished’ in the background. It makes us unable to live our lives to the fullest potential because our problems take away our energy.
Using Tapping to Solve Problems
Tapping can help us to make the bad feeling go away. Tapping won’t make our problems go away instantly because we still have to solve them. But using Tapping can help us not feel bad or guilty regarding the problem that we have. Once we can face the problem with a clear mind, we can begin finding a solution to solve it.
Nick Ortner admits that he procrastinated when he was writing his book. But he used Tapping and realized that he was avoiding writing because he might be criticized about his book. Louise Hay remembers a trauma from when she was five years old that still has an effect on her today. She used Tapping to let that trauma go and release the blocked energy from her body.
